CHANDIGARH, JUNE 6: The MDK Immigration Consultants today organised a seminar on Immigration. The seminar was followed by a visa presentation ceremony in which Dr Umesh Kumar, a Phd from West Germany, and his wife, Ritu Kumar, a graduate in Fashion Designing from Delhi, were presented permanent residential visas for New Zealand.

Capt. D. K. Uppal, managing director of MDK Immigration Consultants, in his opening speech, talked about the firms8217; achievements in helping prospective immigrants. Later, Uppal told Newsline, that the time taken to acquire a visa usually ranges from six months to two years. The total expenses involved in the procedure is around Rs 3 lakh, including his commission.

Dr N. K. Grover, vice-district governor of Lions International, presided over the function. He said sincerity in every aspect was the secret of success. Grover said there was no work environment in India, especially in government offices. One can turn ambitions into reality only if one8217;s work environment is good, he said.

Among the prominent guests present were Lt Col G. P. S. Patheya, deputy director of the Centre for Training and Employment of Youth, and Malik, station director of All India Radio.
