Feb 3: Top seed T Yamini of Tamil Nadu defeated seventh seed Sanaa Bhambri of Delhi 6-3 6-1 and moved into the last four of the Girls U-16 event in the Sajeev K Nair Memorial AITA Ranking open junior championship here today.
Also moving into the semi-finals in the same category were Sasha Abraham of Andhra, Megha Vakharia Maharashtra and Nandita Chandrashekar Tamil Nadu.
In the boy8217;s Under-16, top seed Anant Sitaram AP had an easy win over Chatwinder Singh of Chandigarh 6-2 6-2 for an entry into the last four. Other semi-finalists in the group are R Arun Prakash of Tamil Nadu, V Vignesh of Andhra and Pratim Parekh of Maharashtra.
