Saplings planted to welcome 8217;99

CHANDIGARH, Jan 1: Tree Plantation Day was observed by the Government Senior Secondary School, Dhanas, here today. The NSS volunteers of the DAV College, Sector 10, along with the students, staff and the principal of the school planted several saplings of Neem, Peepal, and Jamun to welcome the New Year.

Speaking on the occasion, school Principal Suman Sharma admired the work done by the volunteers of NSS on the school campus. The principal asked the students of the school to take care of the planted saplings and ensure their proper care and growth.
