CHANDIGARH, Oct 2: More than 100 participants including officers, airmen and civilians took part in the `Run for Air Force' race held from Sector 31 Kendriya Vidyalaya in the morning today.The 2 km race, which was a part of a week long celebration of the 66th anniversary of the Indian Air Force, after passing through the streets of Sector 32 terminated at 3 Base Repair Depot (BRD).Races in the children's group were also held at the 3 BRD. In the above 12 years group, Jai Singh was first while Chander Singh took the second spot. Vandana and Navjot Singh were first and second respectively in the below 12 years section.Earlier, the race was flagged off by Madhu Aggarwal, wife of Air Commodore, Arivinda Aggarwal.ResultsSenior: Above 46 yrs: 1 DP Chauhan, 2 TR Naik.
