CHANDIGARH, June 21: Hosts Rollerbones, helped by Abhishek, Arvind Chaudhary and Parvinder Kamboj, prevailed over Jammu by 7-6 in the senior roller hockey final of the 8th Rollerbones Skating Carnival at the Sector 10 Rink Hall here today.

Patiala Tigers carried too many guns against Roller Hawks whom they rouned by 18-1 to claim the junior boys hockey title. Roller Hawks, however, dominated the girls and sub-junior boys section. In the girls hockey final, they blanked Manav Mangal 6-0. In the sub-junior boys final, Roller Hawks defeated Rollerbones.

Earlier in the morning session at the Lake Club, Indu and Saurav Singh gave fine performance to win the girls and boys above 16 years Road Races respectively. A keen competition was also witnessed in the Rink Races II.

Gautam outskated Harkiran and Varun to win the boys 12-16 years race. Harkiran and Varun finished second and third respectively.

Boys: 1 Nishant, 2 Chetan, 3 Manjit. girls 12-16 yrs: Priyanka Sharma, 2 Suparna, 3 Divya. Boys: 1 Gautam, 2 Harkiran, 3 Varun. Girls above 16: 1 Indu, 2 Sapan, 3 Hena. Boys: 1 Abhisar Bhargav, 2 Saurabh, 3 Swami.

Road Races: Boys under-4: 1 Amarjit Singh Kohli, 2 Shivan Thakur, 3 Karan Narang. Boys 4-6: 1 Shubham Narang, 2 Jatin Narang, 3 Rehatbir Singh Mann. Girls: 1 Mehak Paul, 2 Neha Singh, 3 Sakshi Arora.

Boys 6-9 yrs: 1 Ishan, 2 Karan Arora, 3 Gulsagar Singh Jassal. Girls: 1 Karishma Abhuja, 2 Gurleen, 3 Renuka Sharma.
