Hosts Ahmedabad Rockets thrashed the Royal Bengal Tigers by ten wickets in their Indian Cricket League ICL Twenty20 championship match at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel stadium here.

Chasing a total of 132, the Rockets scored 137 in just 12 overs without losing a wicket. Murray Goodwin and Ryan Campbell thrashed the Tigers bowlers all over the park, much to the delight of the home crowd.

Goodwin scored 66 in 38 balls with ten boundaries and a six while Campbell also hit as many in 35 balls with eight fours and four hits over the fence. None of the Tigers bowlers got a breakthrough as the two openers began their onslaught from the very first ball.

Earlier, the Tigers after choosing to bat first, went off to a steady start but lost steam after losing Deep Dasgupta in the fourth over for 11 runs. Skipper Craig McMillan then put up good partnership with Rohan Gavaskar for the Tigers to put up a good score.
