MUMBAI, March 18: All-rounder Robin Morris slammed a swashbuckling 60 to help Sun-Grace Mafatlal to a decent first innings score of 274 against Elf Lubricants on the first day of the Times Shield Division I cricket final at the Wankhede Stadium today.``I took no pressure, just played my natural game'' said Morris who faced just 51 balls in his 51-minute knock which was studded with nine hits to the boundary and three over. Left-arm spinner Nilesh Kulkarni bore the brunt of the Morris-attack going for a six in the very first ball of his second spell and one each in the next two overs.Kulkarni however had his revenge when he had Morris caught at short fine-leg. It took a brilliant piece of fielding by a Ojas Mehta who dived forward to send back Morris.Earlier, put into bat by Elf skipper Jatin Paranjpe in the morning, Sun-Grace began disastrously badly losing opener Nilesh Patwardhan in the very first over with medium-pacer Paras Mhambrey inducing the edge. But a 62-run second wicket partnershipbetween southpaw Amit Pagnis and Maharashtra skipper Shantanu Sugwekar settled the Sun-Grace innings before Maroof Khan trapped Pagnis leg before wicket on 40 (40b, 9x4). Sun-Grace captain Rohan Gavaskar (16), who replaced Pagnis, couldn't do much and was castled by Maroof Khan.Iqbal Khan (33) and Sugwekar strung a 55-run stand for the fourth wicket. However, Mhambrey triggered a collapse by claiming Iqbal. Sugwekar, who was unlucky to miss his half-century by three runs (47: 108b, 175m, 9x4), and Atul Bedade (4) followed suit which resulted in Sun-Grace losing three wickets for just 12 runs.It was then that the most fruitful partnership of the day flowered as Morris alongwith Rajesh Pawar performed the rescue act garnering 77 runs for the seventh wicket. Even as they looked settled Pawar played a reckless pull shot off a rising Maroof-delivery only to scoop it to Atul Ranade at the fine leg boundary.Sun-Grace tailenders however did manage to frustrate the Elf bowling as left-arm seamer Zahir Khan(28: 6x4) and spinner Venkatpathy Raju (9) added another 32 runs for the penultimate wicket. At stumps Elf-Vengsarkar were placed safely on 32 for no loss with Amol Rane (8) and Maroof Khan (17) at the crease.ScoreboardSungrace Mafatlal (1st innings): Nilesh Patwardhan c Muzumdar b Mhambrey 0, Amit Pagnis lbw Khan 40, Shantanu Sugwekar c Rane b Mhambrey 47, Rohan Gavaskar b Khan 16, Iqbal Khan c Bahutule b Mhambrey 33, Atul Bedade c Bahutule b Ranade 4, Robin Morris c Mehta b Kulkarni 60, Rajesh Pawar c Ranade b Khan 20, Zahir Khan c Ranade b Bahutule 28, Venkatpathy Raju not out 9, Mandar Gokarna c Mhambrey b Kulkarni 4;Extras (lb5, w3, nb5): 13.Total (all out in 71.5 overs): 274Fall of wickets: 1-0, 2-62, 3-88, 4-143, 5-144, 6-155, 7-232, 8-232, 9-264.Bowling: Mhambrey 12-3-56-3; Hazare 8-0-43-0, Ranade 9-1-45-1, Khan 11-3-33-3; Bahutule 15-9-28-1, Kulkarni 16.5-6-64-2Elf Vengsarkar (1st innings): Amol Rane batting 8, Maroof Khan batting 17; Extras (lb4, nb3): 7.Total(for no loss in 15 overs): 32.Bowling: Z Khan 5-1-13-0, Gokarna 6-0-13-0, Morris 2-1-2-0, Pawar 1-1-0-0, Raju 1-1-0-0
