CHANDIGARH, March 18: A three-day research methodology workshop on quot;The logic of research: putting it togetherquot; was organised by the Department of Child Development, Government Home Science College, at the State Guest House here today. Rajni Nair, Director, United States Educational Foundation in India called upon the participants to apply for research scholarships for both pre and post doctorates. She said that the applications will be invited next month through advertisement.
Usha Dhawal in her inaugural address said the workshop would provide an opportunity for the participants to enhance their skills.
Suman Verma, the organiser of the workshop felt that this workshop would create a network for interaction amongst experts from different fields. Reed Larson, a professor of Human Development and Family Studies at University of Illinois, United States will speak on topics related to research methodology.
