CHANDIGARH, July 23: The alleged killers of an S.A.S. Nagar resident in Sector 10 market, Harvinder Singh and Manoj Kumar, were further remanded to judicial custody till June 29 by UT Judicial Magistrate Ist Class Tejwinder Singh, here today.
The duo were booked under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code after Manjit Singh died in the cross fire outside Hotel Mountview.
While Manoj Kumar was arrested by the Chandigarh Police on June 8, Harvinder Singh surrendered before the court on June 13. According to the prosecution, an altercation between the two groups at a club a few months had resulted in the firing. The victim was in a Maruti car, while the quot;assailantsquot; were driving a Zen.
