NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 10: Jyoti Randhawa made a comeback with a superb round of five under 67 to move up to joint 11th place along with Amritinder Singh midway through the 500,000 season-ending Omega PGA Golf Championship at Shenzhen China, according to information received here.

Six other Indian golfers made the cut which was applied at 145 while four failed to do so.

Randhawa had 140 as did Amritinder who after a four under 68 on Thursday was placed in the third spot. Amritinder8217;s form on Friday was only good enough to get him a par round.

Jeev Milkha Singh was a stroke behind them with 141 after a good round of 67 today and was sharing the 21st position. Arjun Singh who had a fine 69 on the opening day played two over in the second and was 47th.

Vivek Bhandari, Arjun Atwal and Amandeep Johl, all with 145, were bunched together in the 63rd position having just managed to make the cut. While Bhandari had a neat round of 69, the other two played 72s.

Meanwhile, Myanmar8217;s Kyi Hla Han was confirmedas the Davidoff Tour order of merit champion today after the only man capable of catching him, American Gerry Norquist, missed the halfway cut.

Han cruised in with a three-under-par 69 at Mission Hills Golf club to secure the merit list award, and lies six strokes behind Casas.

Van Rensburg, the joint first-round leader with Casas, carded a 68, while Meeks returned a 65. American Fran Quinn, helped by a hole in one, and Korea8217;s Anthony Kang finished the day a stroke further back after coming in with 67s.

Rafiq Ali in lead

PATNA: Rafiq Ali at six-under 134, was the sole leader after the second day in the Wills Eastern Open at the Patna Golf Course on Friday. In joint second spot were Shiv Prakash and Ali Sher at four-under 136. Rafiq had a bogey on the eighth. Birding the very next hole, the Calcutta-based pro was placed at level-par after his front nine.

Shiv Prakash began with a hat-trick of birdies on the first, second and third. A bogey on the fifth saw him finish his outwardjourney at two-under. A birdie on the 12th followed by a drop shot on the 18th saw the second placed pro on last year8217;s Order of Merit return with his successive card of two-under 68.
