Ranade rescues NCC

MARCH, MUMBAI 13: National Cricket Club NCC scored 180-3 in 48 overs against Young Friends in the quarter-finals of the Young Comrade Shield cricket tournament, conducted by MIG Cricket Club at Cross Maidan today.

National, batting first, lost three wickets for 46 runs before these two came together and saw the day through. They added 134 runs in 42.5 overs for the unbroken fourth wicket. Ranade8217;s knock of 64 was studded with seven fours in 122 balls while Dani hit nine fours in his 104 balls.
