PUNE, April 21: Pune division of Central Railway celebrated the 44th railway week, here. Divisional Railway Manager A K Verma, the chief guest, distributed 60 cash awards and 13 commemoration letters to railway employees for their outstanding performance during 1998-99.

Verma has said that now railway users will be able to purchase railway tickets from any station to any station including the return journey ticket from the single counter in all computer reservation counters. Varma has also awarded three international sports persons of the Pune division a cash prize of Rs. 500 each. Kaka Pawar, Hemlata Ursal and B S Bhushan got the prizes.
