
Four CMs take oath
NEW DELHI: While TDP in Andhra Pradesh, SDF in Sikkim and Congress in Arunachal Pradesh again assumed reins of power on Monday, the latter staged a comeback in Karnataka replacing the J H Patel ministry but the situation in Maharashtra continued to be uncertain for want of emergence of a viable alternative. While for Chandrababu Naidu it was second inning as the CM and Mukut Mithi Arunachal, Pawan Chamling Sikkim and S M Krishna Karnataka took oath as first time chief ministers.
Cong meeting
NEW DELHI: As Congress president Sonia Gandhi gets ready to take over as chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party CPP tomorrow, when the election is scheduled, who will occupy the post of the leader of the party in the Lok Sabha remains uncertain. Party sources say Sonia would be elected CPP chairperson unanimously at the meeting tomorrow.

STOCKHOLM: Guenter Blobel of Rockefeller University in New York won the Nobel prize for medicine onMonday for his research on proteins which shed new light on human diseases including cystic fibrosis and early development of kidney stones.
