PUNE, Jan 3: The State’s favourite personality – the octogenarian humorist par excellence Pu La Deshpande will now be available at the click of a mouse. Just log onto punenet.org/pulabahurupi80/ to capture the essence of the veteran writer’s life and works in bytes. PuneNet- an organisation working on the Internet- has launched a website devoted to Deshpande who is fondly called Pu La’ on the occasion of his 80th birthday. Efforts have been undertaken by a team including journalist Meera Joshi, Satish Jakatdar, Prasad Mirasdar, Devvrat Bapat, Shailesh Khot, Parag Sane, Subodh Sonawane and others to prepare the website.
