CHANDIGARH, March 26: Elections to various Boards of Undergraduate Studies were reportedly held at the meetings of different faculties organised at the Panjab University today.

The faculties which met today included the Arts, Languages, Business Management and Commerce, Science, Education, Medical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

According to the sources, members elected to various boards of studies include:
Hindi: Abinash Chander, Dedar Singh Kalsi, Mahesh Chander Sharma, Ramesh Kumar Vaid, Satya Brat Dwivedi, Tilak Verma.

Punjabi: Amarjit Singh Dua, Guriqbal Singh, Hamans Singh, Hardiljit Singh Gosal, Parbhakar Singh Gill and S. P. Singh.

English: Balraj Thapar, Inder Paul Setia, Kusum Narula, O. P. Sharma, Ranjit Singh Pannu and R. P. Sabharwal.

Krishan Kumar Goel, Mohinder Singh Bhalla, Parvinder Singh, S. K. Gupta, S. M. Sehgal and Yogesh Chander Bali were elected to the Chemistry board.

Amar Shobha, Dalip Kumar, Neelam K. Sharma, Rajinder Kumar Kapoor, Ravi Mantosh and S. Bansal were elected to the Zoology board of undergraduate studies.

The faculty of Business Management and Commerce reportedly include Arvind Malhotra, Ashok K. Sood, Hem Raj Saini, Inder Kumar Chopra, Indira Gupta and Vijay Sidhu.
