CHANDIGARH, Dec 17: After a decade, the Panjab University boxing team will make their entry in the All-India Inter-University boxing championship to be held at MDU Rohtak from December 20 to 25.
It may be recalled that boxing had been banned at PU since 1988-89. However, the event has been revived again. Team: Anand Kumar light fly, Love Kumar fly, Pawan Kumar bantam, Rajesh feather, Jadeep light, Rajat light welter, Vicky Sharma welter, Varinder Dangi light middle, Rakesh Kumar middle, Ramandeep light heavy, Baljit heavy, Aman Awasthi super heavy.
Shiv Singh and CK Jerath will accompany the team as coach and manager respectively.
