PTDC website tomorrow

KHARAR, Oct 27: The Punjab Tourism Development Corporation Limited will soon be on the internet. The corporation has got its website prepared recently which provides comprehensive information about the holiday homes being run by PTDC within the state and elsewhere in the country.

This was disclosed by Vini Mahajan, PTDC Managing Director, in a press release issued here today. She said that information like the telephone number and address, how to reach, the type of accommodation including tariff and other facilities available will, thus, be available at the click of a button. She added that this was expected to be invaluable for the non-resident Indians and others intending to visit Punjab.

Mahajan added that complete information on tourist destinations of Punjab, fairs and festivals has also been provided along with photographs of the important places. This site which has been prepared by the National Information Centre will be launched by the Union Minister of State for Industries, Sukhbir Singh Badal at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh, on October 29, at 11.30 am.

Mahajan said that the site can be accessed from that day onwards on nic.in/ptdc.
