SURAT, MAY 30: Followers of Chhatrapati Shivaji and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, who are agitating against the Surat Municipal Corporation8217;s move to relocate their leaders statues from the Ring Road to facilitate the construction of a flyover, voiced their protest again on Saturday.
Shouting slogans against the civic body and its administrators, they disrupted the construction work and removed some of the tin sheets used for cordoning the construction area. Taken by surprise, some of the construction workers reportedly fled from the area.
