Programme on tranfusion services in country

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 7: Specialists in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Bank Officers of northern region will participate in a Continuing Medical Education Programme to be held in the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research on September 11 and 12. The two-day Continuing Medical Education Programme is being organised by the Department of Blood Transfusion PGIMER. While current scenario of transfusion service in the country will be discussed, various aspects like AIDS, Hepatitis, ways to achieve safe transfusion, promotion of blood programme in the country and Transfusion Medicine in the 21st century will also be covered.
