It seems ladies just can8217;t live without vanity 8212; whether it8217;s on or off roads,for a survey has revealed that more than one in five women motorists admit they regularly use the rear-view mirror to check appearance.
And,some have even used it to apply beauty make-up while driving,according to the survey. And one in four says she has driven while wearing high-heel shoes.
Men,too,come in for criticism of their driving habits in research by insurance firm Churchill. Three per cent have had a shave while driving. And five per cent have changed clothes,the Daily Express reported.
Claire Foster,a spokeswoman for Churchill,which polled 2,000 drivers,said: 8220;Multi-tasking is a trait often associated with women but doing it behind the wheel is extremely hazardous. 8220;Women get a lot of bad press for their driving skill. However,men can be dangerously distracted too.8221;
