The “rebels” led by acting president,Giriraj Sanadya, former secretary Subhash Joshi, former deputy president Bimal Soni,Jaipur District Cricket Association secretary Mohammad Iqbal and their supporters broke through the barricading and put their own lock from outside on the gate of the office.

The “rebel” leaders and their supporters staged a dharna. Soni, who was recently suspended by Dixit, said Rajasthan cricket has never seen such a scenario.

“I have been associated with cricket administration but have never seen this happening when the gates of RCA were locked for elected office bearers. We have the majority and it is like disregarding the democratic norms. We would go BCCI with all the facts,” he said.
