Pune: Karnatakas pace pair of R Vinay Kumar and Abhimanyu Mithun skittled out Maharashtra for 105 on the first day of their Group B tie. Vinay finished with figures of 5 for 40 while Mithun grabbed 3 for 32 after the hosts were asked to bat on a moist wicket.

Ablish takes six

Mohali: In a dominant display by pace bowlers,Love Ablish 6/79 and Manpreet Gony 4/38 helped hosts Punjab bowl out Gujarat for 160 on the first day of their Group A match. Punjab had lost two wickets for 77 runs in reply at stumps. Winning a good toss and making full use of home conditions,Punjab just took 45 overs to run over their opponents.

Dharamsala: Tamil Nadu ended Day One against Himachal on 293 for 8,riding on a fighting unbeaten century from R Ashwin 107. Ashwin and skipper Dinesh Karthik 70 helped the visitors recover from a precarious 132 for 6 within 46 overs.
