A man charged with the murder of three prostitutes in Bradford attempted to kill himself in prison,media reports said on Thursday.
Stephen Griffiths,40,briefly lost consciousness before prison officers found him slumped in his cell,the reports said.
He is accused of killing sex workers Suzanne Blamires,36,Shelley Armitage,31,and Susan Rushworth,43.
We can confirm that a prisoner at HMP Wakefield received treatment in the prisoner healthcare wing following an incident of self-harm,the Ministry of Justice said in a statement.
