German granny crushed by falling xmas tree: Report

A 78-year-old German woman was seriously injured after a 200-kilo plastic Christmas tree hanging from the ceiling in a shopping centre fell on her,a press report said on Wednesday.

The woman,who was not named,suffered a 15-centimetre gash to he her head,damage to her skull and a bruised pelvis when the 4.5-metre high tree came crashing down on top of her,the Bild daily said.
