Cape Cobras relying on all round ability against NSW

Langeveldt said experience of playing in 2009 edition of Champions League will stand them in good stead.

Cape Cobras fast bowler Charl Langeveldt says they have the required balance in the their side to do well in the Champions League T20 as they prepare to take on New South Wales, here tomorrow.

Langeveldt said presence of all-rounders add to their strength.

We got the likes of Justin Kemp. We got a few all-rounders.. We got Justin Ontong as well. I think it8217;s strength the all round ability. We got great strike power with me and Dale Steyn up front. We got Robin Peterson in spin. I think we8217;ve got all round ability. I think New South Wales is quite a good, stable side as well, Langeveldt said at a pre-match press conference.

Langeveldt said the experience of playing in the 2009 edition of the Champions League will stand them in good stead.

Yeah,Guys have learned a lot, they know the crowds, they are used to the conditions now,and I8217;d say they8217;re a lot more experienced now. We8217;re called as the underdogs, which is a good thing. And I think the guys are geared up because we8217;re called as the underdogs, he said.

Talking about the pitch,he said the changed nature of the track suits them.

It8217;s very different here. The last time I played in India,I bowled a different length in Bangalore, and different length in Chennai. We have a bit of grass here so we think it might help us a bit.
