Salary cut for Aussies Melbourne: The prospect of salary cuts is looming large against Australian cricketers after their Board fell short of the projected revenue by $16 million. According to a report in the Herald Sun,Cricket Australia's general manager of finance and business services Kate Banozic has sent a letter to its 180 players informing them of the CA's decision. "Whilst this isn't great news to have to deliver to players,it is important to note we are currently in difficult financial times and cricket is not immune from these," she wrote. PCB stops Kaneria Karachi: Leg-spinner Danish Kaneria has been stopped by PCB from going to Dubai to join the national team for the two Test matches against South Africa starting from November 12. Danish was scheduled to leave for Dubai with Muhammad Sami from Karachi as were Muhammad Yousuf,Taufiq Umar and Azhar Ali from Lahore in the early hours on Sunday. But as he was preparing to leave for the airport,Danish was told by the PCB to remain in Karachi till further orders.
