Sarwan dropped for final Test
Barbados: West Indies selectors dropped Ramnaresh Sarwan for the third and final Test against India. Leeward Islands Kieran Powell,21,has been named as his replacement and that is the only change in the 13-member squad. Sarwan,31,has scored only 29 runs in the last four innings. Sarwan though was already informed about his axing as he tweeted immediately after the second Test ended in a draw. Wishing the guys all the best in Dominica! Miami here I come.

Dhoni docked 60 match fee
BRIDGETOWN: India has been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during the drawn second test against West Indies,the International Cricket Council ICC said on Sunday. India were three overs short of their target after considering time allowances. The Indian players were fined 30 percent of their match fees while captain MS Dhoni was docked 60 percent. India accepted the penalties without contest.
Gayle unrepentant: WICB
BRIDGETOWN: The West Indies Cricket Board has said Chris Gayle was antagonistic and unrepentant during meetings called to sort out differences with him. The WICBs reaction came after Gayle called the body a sham and a mockery. The WICB reiterates that there is a history of difficulty in communicating with Gayle; but from his latest statement and his expressed views in the meetings with the WICB it would appear as though he is of the unshakeable view that he has conducted himself impeccably.
Broad fined for dissent
LONDON: England bowler Stuart Broad has been fined 50 percent of his match fee for breaching the ICC code of conduct and showing dissent at an umpires decision during the second ODI against Sri Lanka on Friday. The incident happened in the final over of the Sri Lanka innings when Broad appealed for an lbw,which was turned down.
