Poster contest in March

VADODARA, Feb 21: An on-the-spot poster, painting and debate competition will be organised by the Technical Backup Support Unit, Department of Home Management of the Faculty of Home Science, M S University to mark the World Consumer Day. The participants will include high schools students, housewives, among others, residing within city limits. The poster contest on Consumer Issues in the 21st Century or Consumer 8211; 50 Years Ago, Today and 50 Years Hence8217; will be held on March 7.

While the essay contest, too, would be held on the same day, participants will have to write on Consumer Exploitation and Consumerism, a Myth or a Reality8217; or no Adulteration and Frauds, Accepted Evils Even After 50 Years of Independence.8217;

Those participating in the debate competition, to be held on March 14, will have to express their views on Have Advertisements Come of Age After 50 Years of Freedom to Support Consumer Interest,8217; or on Should Children be Used to Promote Consumer Products?8217;
