
MUMBAI, Oct 31: The police have put up posters in Thane announcing Rs 10,000 as reward for information which could lead to the arrest of seven members of the Manchekar gang. They are Uday Manjrekar, Sunil Desai, Patrick Fernandes, Krishna Sambhaji Ghag, Deepak Meghani, Devendra Gharekar and Suresh Dhananji Manchekar.
Meanwhile, the spate of extortion threats continued today. Now even politicians are getting threatening calls.
While APMC chairperson was asked for Rs 15 lakh yesterday, a BJP worker Jaywanti Patel too received a threat today.

His refusal to pay only led to a threat saying it will get difficult to leave the house,8221; she added.
