Himachal Pradesh today sounded a red alert in the state and ordered all district Superintendents of Police to intensify vigil at entry points and public places, including railway stations and bus stands. Police squads went around Shimla town during the day, checking ISBT and the railway station, and some crowded areas.
The checking was also intensified at the state’s entry points like Parwanoo, Paonta and Kangra district. DGP GS Gill said these measures will remain in place, and police will keep a vigil at sensitive public spots, religious places, bus stations and hotels.
