KOZHIKODE, MAY 20: The police have unearthed a racket involving the circulation of counterfeit Rs 500 notes notes in various parts of Kerala, with the arrest of three people at Vadakara in Kozhikode district yesterday.

A special police squad raided a house and seized fake currencies, worth Rs 7.5 lakh.

The gang is reported to have circulated counterfeit notes, worth Rs 50 lakh in the Malabar region so far. The accused hailed from Kasargod district.
