The revamped board of trustees of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts is set to meet for the first time on June 19. Union Culture and Tourism Minister Ambika Soni, also a trustee on the IGNCA board, is set to preside over the meeting. However, some trustees may not take too kindly to Soni8217;s assumption of the post. Apparently, the constitution and title deed of the cultural centre, which counts former Prime Ministers Rajiv Gandhi and P V Narasimha Rao among its founder trustees, specify very clearly that the trustees have to elect a president themselves.
