The aim to make photography a part of every Indian houseld. With this in mind, Canon India Pvt. Limited today announced the launch of Canon Image Fest at the Piccadily hotel in Sector 22. The fest was initially launched in Jaipur and after clicking a great success there, it has come to Chandigarh. From here, it’s scheduled to enter cities like Ludhiana, and Agra among others. Says Shunichi Senda, director ICP, Canon India, “We at Canon are looking forward to re-live the experience of Jaipur. The response was overwhelming and we are happy to see people’s keen interest in photography. Canon now takes immense pride and happiness to bring this fest to Chandigarh. We realize how critical tier II cities are for the growth of Canon and this is a step taken towards strengthening our foothold in these tier II cities. The fest is yet another step to get closer to customers and cater to their needs.’’
