MUMBAI APRIL 8: Perceived value saddled by trainer Dallas Todywalla running in the colours of Dr MAM Ramaswamy was skillfully guided by jockey KPG Appu and finally claimed The Martell Mile, the star attraction of the 41st day of Mumbai meeting held on Saturday at Mahalakshmi.

Jockey Aslam Kader who piolated Machrihanish prefered to shot ahead from the start and it appeared that he would have last laugh but the winner who was within the striking distance from the home turn challenged successfully and forced the leader to surrender the position at the fag end. Favourite Tout De Suite failed to stand by her followers and finished sixth in the field of eight.

Trainer Dallas Todywalla and jockey C Rajendra ended the day with a double each.
