NEW DELHI, Aug 8: The Government will not put on hold the implementation of the recommendations of the Fifth Pay Commission, Agriculture Minister Chaturanan Mishra said in the Rajya Sabha today.
Responding to a Zero Hour mention in the Rajya Sabha, Mishra said the govt stood by the decision of the Cabinet to implement the report. But in view of the complaints of anomalies in the recommendations, it had asked government employees’ associations to give their views by August 15.
