Palace on Wheels crew suffer burns

The Palace on Wheels was delayed on Wednesday after five members of the crew, including the driver, suffered burns minutes after the train left Safdarjung station. Northern Railways PRO Rajiv Saxena said, 8220;a steam pipe in the boiler room burst around 6.30 pm scalding five crew members.8221;

The train had 92 tourists on board. Additional Deputy Commissioner for Railways R K Jha said they will be conducting a detailed investigation. The train resumed its journey at 7.15 pm.
