ONGC warns against bogus advertisements

VADODARA, Nov 26: Taking serious note of yet another bogus advertisement offering placement in the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation ONGC issued by some unscrupulous persons, the ONGC has cautioned the people in general to guard against such unlawful acts.

An official ONGC statement on Thursday that fake interviews, appointment and call letters were being issued by one B I Panchal on behalf of ONGC, which were bogus and unlawful. It asked the public in general and unemployed youths in particular to be careful and not fall prey to such unscrupulous elements.

The release specified that recruitment for class III and IV staff in ONGC for WRBC was done centrally in its regional office at Vadodara and that no other agent, agency or person had been authorised to act on its behalf.
