One killed in mishap

PUNE, Nov 7: A 16-YEAR-OLD girl Madhura Arvind Patwardhan lost her life while her parents were injured, when the Maruti car in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding truck on Pashan road on Sunday morning.

The mishap occurred at around 10.30 am opposite DRDO guest house. The driver of the truck is absconding. The car was driven by Madhura8217;s uncle Dr Anand Patwardhan. The mishap took place when the truck which was being driven on the wrong side hit the car. Madhura died when she was being taken to hospital.
