CHANDIGARH, Oct 12: The Chandigarh Administration has decided to go in for rotational transfers of all officers posted for over three years on sensitive posts in the Administration. The decision follows instructions from the Central Vigilance Commission, seeking rotational transfer of all officers posted on sensitive posts after periodic intervals.
While implementing the instructions of the CVC and Union Department of Personnel and Training, the Administration has directed all its administrative secretaries to identify and submit a list of sensitive posts under their control within 15 days, and send the same to the UT Department of Personnel within a week thereafter.
The officials who have been on sensitive seats for a period of more than three years without any exception would be transferred to nonsensitive posts, except in cases where a post requires expertise in a particular field or other administrative exigencies.
These orders supersede all other existing instructions issued from time to time by the Administration.
