
MUMBAI, MAY 9: Naval Sailing Club, Mumbai comprising of a very strong team, also qualified for the pre-quarter-final from group D by winning their two races against Sea Cadet Corps Sailing Association II SCCSA II and EMESA off the Pilot Bunder, Colaba in the National Team Racing Sailing Championships in the Enterprise class.
NSC, Mumbai comprising of silver medallist at the recent World Championships, Ashim Mongia with RS Dhulaji, Nitin Mongia with Bharati Mongia and Naresh Yadav with Girdhari Yadav proceed to the pre-quarter-finals.
SCCSA II was the other team from group D to qualify for pre-quarter-finals beating EMESA.
The other teams to qualify were SCCSA I and CESC II from Group B, and CESC I form Group C.
Yesterday, Indian Naval Sailing Association and NSC Vizag qualified from Group A.
In team racing, each team comprises of three pair of sailors. And in a race, the team with minimum points is the winner.

Group A: INSA bt NSC Vizag; bt CESC B; bt MP Naukayan Sangh I. NSCVizag bt CESC B and bt MP Naukayan Sangh; CESC B bt MP Naukayan Sangh I. INSA and NSC Vizag qualify from group.
Group B: SCCSA I bt CESC II; bt Maharashtra NCC. CESC II bt Maharashtra NCC. SCCSA I and CESC II qualify from group.
Group C: CESC I bt MP Naukayan II; CESC I got walk-over from NSC Kochi. CESC I qualify from group.
Group D: NSC Mumbai bt SCCSA II; bt EMESA. SCCSA bt EMESA. NSC and SCCSA qualify from group.
