After issuing warrants for actress Shilpa Shetty’s parents Surendra and Sunanda Shetty, Fazl-ur-Rehman and Ashraf alias Uday Shetty, Surat police is planning to issue summons to the actress in the case lodged by Prafful Sarees’s Pankaj Agarwal.

Confirming the decision, Inspector B.V. Ramani said: ‘‘We are going to issue summons for Shilpa under Section 160 of the CrPC. We want to interrogate her as she is at the centre of this controversy.’’
