Notification on Bihar Assembly formation issued

The notification signed by all the three members of the Commission, headed by Chief Election Commissioner M S Gill, was issued a day earlier than scheduled in view of the wafer-thin margin between the rival Rashtriya Janata Dal and the National Democratic Aliance camps.

The Commission which had announced the notification of the Haryana Assembly yesterday, also approved the list of newly-elected members of the 147-member Orissa Assembly.
