Notices for govt bodies, PSUs

VADODARA, June 9: The Vadodara Taluka Panchayat has issued notices to several State Government and Public Sector Undertakings in the taluka to pay outstanding land revenues.

According to highly placed sources, the notices have been issued by Taluka Development Officer TDO Bhupendra Shah.

The Panchayat has already frozen the Makarpura GIDC8217;s bank account. Deputy District Development Officer P V Nathani told Express Newsline on Wednesday that the extreme step was taken after several fruitless correspondences with them. The GIDC, Makarpura has to pay Rs 33 lakhs.
