MANDYA, AUGUST 13: Former prime minister Deve Gowda put to rest speculation of his political retirement after the ensuing elections by stating that he would continue to play a vital role in state and national politics.
Gowda, who was addressing the party workers8217; meet in Mandya, said that he had termed the ensuing election as his last in clearing the political uncertainty. 8220;It would not be the last election in my political career,8221; he clarified.
