CHANDIGARH, May 12: No nomination was filed for the June 3 Adampur assembly byelection in Haryana today. So far only one Independent has filed his nominations for the byelection in the state.
HISAR: Indian Council of Agricultural Research Director General R. S. Paroda will be honoured by HAU on May 16 for his contribution towards agriculture and the society. A decision to honour Paroda was taken at a high-level meeting headed by HAU VC B. Chowdhary, a university spokesman said here.
