Due to the delay in submission of list of the nominees, no Bihar police personnel will receive the President’s medal on the Republic Day.Official sources said that though the police headquarters had on November 10 sent a proposal for honouring personnel, state Home Department could not forward it to the Centre as certain documents were required recommendations.Expressing surprise over the delay, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, “It is a matter of serious concern. I will look into the matter personally,” he said.
