The Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation MPRDC has invited members of the National Highways Builders Federation to undertake construction of state road projects of length totalling 8727 km.
This initiative is seen important as work on the national highways under NHAI has slowed down and award of contracts for new projects has also come down over the past few months.
According to MPRDC officials, the state corporation is taking up all BOT projects on DBFO model based on the MCA issued by the Planning Commission and that manual of standards and specifications have already been prepared.
