New dengue cases reported

With 66 new confirmed dengue cases reported from various city hospitals, the number of confirmed dengue patients has swelled to 1,307 till now this season. Besides, as many as 319 suspected dengue cases have been reported from the city.

According to the health department, till now as many as 573 confirmed dengue cases have been reported from outside the district at the city hospitals. Of over 2,000 patients of dengue reported in the state, over 1,500 cases are claimed to be from the district.

The Health Department however, has confirmed 1,307 cases till now.
