MUMBAI, May 13: In an exciting and thrilling Pool B match, Services champions Indian Navy eked out a narrow 9-8 victory over a youthful and zestful Rest of Maharashtra on the second day of the P M Hindu Bath All-India Invitational water polo tournament, today.
The Rest of Maharashtra team were severely handicapped by the absence of their star forward Shane Peddar through an eye injury suffered by him in the match against Deccan Gymkhana Pune yesterday.
