Why I took up this game
Every kid in his childhood likes playing with guns or cars or aeroplane. Guns always fascinated me and initially I loved shooting balloons at the fair, so that was my first brush with guns. I started seriously when I was 14.
My favourite shooters
I look up to Major R S Rathore and Samresh Jung for inspiration, the latter for his dedication and experience.
My most memorable moment
Not many of my age, become No 1 and I am happy with the way I handled pressure.
One way shooting has changed my life
I have learnt a lot about mental maturity from my sport. Shooting has taught me how to win and also handle myself when I lose.
One thing I8217;d like to change about the sport
Carrying ammunition in India is a problem, and things could have been much better if a shooter had just his shooting to bother about.
